Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy sets out the terms under which refunds and cancellations may be requested for FOGS Consultants services. Please read it carefully before engaging our services.

1 Introduction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all services provided by FOGS Consultants. By availing any service, clients and candidates agree to the terms outlined below.

⚠️ Please read this policy carefully before making any payment. All payments are subject to the terms described herein.

2 General Policy

  • All payments made to FOGS Consultants are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed only after internal review and approval.
  • Any approved refund will be processed within 7–15 business days through the original mode of payment.

3 Cancellation Policy

3.1 By Client (Employers)

  • Clients may cancel services by providing written notice via email.
  • Cancellation after work has commenced will not be eligible for a refund.
  • If cancellation occurs before service initiation, a partial refund (after deducting administrative charges) may be considered.

3.2 By Candidates / Individuals

  • Candidates may cancel services (resume, EPF assistance, etc.) before work begins.
  • Once the service process has started, cancellation requests will not be accepted.

3.3 By FOGS Consultants

FOGS Consultants reserves the right to cancel services in cases of:

  • Misrepresentation or fraudulent information
  • Non-cooperation from client or candidate
  • Non-payment or delayed payment
  • Any violation of terms

In cases of cancellation by FOGS Consultants due to any of the above reasons, no refund shall be applicable.

4 Service-Specific Refund Policy

The following refund terms apply to each service category offered by FOGS Consultants:

🀝 Recruitment Services

  • Fees paid are strictly non-refundable.
  • In case of candidate dropout or early exit, a replacement candidate will be provided as per the agreed replacement policy.
  • No refunds under any circumstances.

  • Fees are non-refundable once service has commenced.
  • If canceled before initiation, a partial refund may be considered after deducting administrative charges.

🏦 EPF Support Services

  • No refund once the process has started.
  • If canceled before processing, a partial refund may be considered.
  • No refund for government rejections or delays due to EPFO / employer issues.

  • IT services are milestone-based.
  • Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.
  • Advance payments are non-refundable once work has started.
  • If a project is canceled mid-way, charges for completed work will be retained.

  • Non-refundable once work has begun.
  • If canceled before assignment, a partial refund may be considered.

5 No Refund Situations

No refund shall be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after service initiation
  • Delay caused by client/candidate in providing required information
  • Rejection by employer, EPFO, or third-party authorities
  • Candidate not selected in the recruitment process
  • Candidate failing interview or leaving job voluntarily

FOGS Consultants is not liable for outcomes dependent on third parties, including employers, EPFO, or government authorities.

6 Replacement & Rework Policy

  • Recruitment services include a replacement guarantee as per agreed terms.
  • Resume services may include limited revisions, if offered at the time of engagement.
  • No additional services beyond the agreed scope will be provided free of cost.

7 Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–15 business days.
  • Refunds will be made via the original payment method or bank transfer (if required).

8 Request Process

All cancellation or refund requests must be submitted via your official registered email ID to info@fogsconsultants.com.

Requests must include:

  • Invoice details
  • Service details
  • Reason for the request

Requests submitted without the required details will not be processed until complete information is provided.

9 Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes shall first be addressed through mutual discussion.
  • If unresolved, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Ernakulam, Kerala courts.

10 Policy Updates

FOGS Consultants reserves the right to modify this policy at any time and update terms without prior notice. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
