1 Purpose
This Code of Conduct sets out the standards of professional and ethical behaviour expected of everyone who works for or represents FOGS Consultants, including employees, contractors, interns, and consultants. It is intended to protect our reputation, our clients, and each other.
2 Scope & Applicability
This Code applies to all FOGS Consultants personnel in all work settings, including client sites, remote work, and business-related travel or events, and to interactions on behalf of the company on digital and social platforms.
3 Professional Conduct
Everyone is expected to act honestly, treat colleagues, clients, and candidates with courtesy and respect, and perform their duties diligently and to a high professional standard. Discriminatory, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour of any kind is not acceptable.
4 Conflicts of Interest
Employees must avoid situations where personal interests could conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of FOGS Consultants or our clients. Any actual or potential conflict of interest โ including outside employment, financial interests in a client or vendor, or close personal relationships affecting a work decision โ must be disclosed to management promptly.
5 Confidentiality & Data Handling
Employees must protect confidential business, client, and candidate information and use it only for legitimate work purposes, consistent with our Privacy Policy, Data Privacy Policy, and Information Security Policy. Confidentiality obligations continue after an individual's engagement with FOGS Consultants ends.
6 Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption
FOGS Consultants does not tolerate bribery, kickbacks, or facilitation payments in any form. Employees must not offer, give, solicit, or accept anything of value intended to improperly influence a business decision. Reasonable, transparent business gifts and hospitality in line with normal industry practice are permitted, but must be disclosed if there is any doubt.
7 Use of Company Assets & Systems
Company equipment, systems, software, and access credentials must be used responsibly and primarily for work purposes. Employees must not use company systems to access, store, or distribute unlawful, offensive, or infringing content, and must follow our Information Security Policy when handling devices and credentials.
8 Compliance with Law
All personnel must comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations relevant to their role, including labour, tax, data protection, and anti-discrimination law. Any request to act in a manner that would breach the law must be refused and reported.
9 Reporting Violations
Suspected violations of this Code should be reported to a manager, HR, or through our Whistleblower Policy channel. Reports are treated confidentially, and retaliation against anyone reporting in good faith is strictly prohibited.
10 Disciplinary Action
Breach of this Code may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or engagement, in accordance with applicable law and our internal HR procedures, proportionate to the severity of the violation.
