About EPF Penalty Calculation Service

Under the EPF & MP Act, 1952, employers are liable to pay penalties for delayed remittance of PF contributions. These include:

  • Section 14B – Damages: Penalty for delayed payment, ranging from 5% to 25% per annum depending on the delay period.
  • Section 7Q – Interest: Simple interest @ 12% per annum on the amount due from the due date to the date of payment.
