Role Overview
Design, develop and maintain full-stack web applications for FOGS Consultants and our clients. You'll work across the entire development lifecycle — from architecture and database design to front-end delivery and deployment — within an agile, collaborative team building the same Forge platforms our clients use every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Develop RESTful APIs and back-end services using Node.js or Python
- Design and optimise relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments on AWS or Azure
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into production
- Write clean, maintainable code with documentation and unit tests
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 3–6 years of professional full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in React.js or Vue.js for front-end development
- Solid back-end experience with Node.js, Express or Django
- Working knowledge of Git, Docker and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Growth Opportunities
Full-stack engineers typically progress into Senior Engineer or Tech Lead roles within FOGS's own product team, with a path toward owning an entire Forge platform end to end.

The IT & Digital team builds and runs every FOGS Forge platform — the same products our clients use — while also delivering client-facing technology and digital transformation work. It's a small, senior-leaning team that ships fast and owns what it builds.
